Driving for a cause
Ralph Cotton takes a final cleansing swipe on his antique car during the ninth annual Illinois Valley toy run, which started Sunday morning at Darius Miller Park in Princeton. Each participating driver brought a new, unwrapped toy as the entry fee. Sunday’s event also included food, music and a 50/50 drawing, with proceeds going to local charities. The 40-mile round trip cruise began at 11:30 a.m., with the event ending at 3 p.m. Sunday back at Darius Miller.
