Errold Humphreys Sr.

MINERAL — Errold F. Humphreys Sr., 64, of Conway, Ark., formerly of Tiskilwa died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.

He was born Sept. 28, 1949, in Princeton, the son of Herschel and Betty Jane (Lyon) Humphreys.

He attended Mineral Grade School and graduated from Annawan High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany from March 20, 1970, until April 14, 1975. He had worked at Harper-Wyman in Princeton from 1967 until 1995 and then at Molex in Maumelle, Ark., from 1995 until his death.

Survivors include three sons, David (Kathy) Humphreys of Princeville, Errold F. Humphreys Jr. of Buda and Richard (Jenna) Humphreys of Wyanet; two daughters, Crystal (Adam) Stocking of Walnut and Yvonne (Chris) Humphreys of Conway, Ark.; 14 grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandra, Errold III, Thomas, Audrey, Donald, Brendan, Elizabeth, Tessa, Kyle, Sophia, Sawyer, Hunter and Damion; and three brothers, Gary (Valerie) Humphreys of Buda, Steven Humphreys of Mineral and Russell (Christine) Humphreys of Princeton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Mineral United Methodist Church, Mineral, with the Rev. Terry Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in the Mineral Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 339 E. Chestnut St., Sheffield.

Memorials may be made to Errold Humphrey’s Sr. Memorial Fund.
