PRINCETON — The Princeton Rotary Club has donated $3,000 to the Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley (YSB) to purchase furnishings for two new family visitation/therapy rooms.
The donation was funded by a Rotary District 6420 Community Grant, funds from the Princeton Rotary Club’s annual Foundation Dinner and the Princeton Rotary Club.
The donated funds will be used to purchase sofas, chairs, sofa tables, floor and table lamps, bookshelves and a juvenile table and four chairs. The YSB provides a diverse range of services to the local area communities and include: parenting programs, counseling, foster care services and a wide variety of outreach programs which are designed to make a real difference in the lives of local youth and families. This project also reflects the mission of the Rotary Foundation to achieve world understanding and peace through local, national and international humanitarian, education and cultural programs.
