St. Margaret’s Hospital receives donation from St. Bede’s annual ‘Pink Night’

SPRING VALLEY — The St. Bede girls’ volleyball team held a “Pink Night” on Oct. 15 to support breast cancer awareness.

The St. Bede and Princeton volleyball players all bought team T-shirts, which were worn to play in the game and added an extra $5 donation above the price of each shirt. There were several raffle items and the cheerleaders sold pink suckers. St. Bede volleyball players and cheerleaders also sold fans T-shirts and sweatshirts prior to “Pink Night.”

They raised $1,200 for St. Margaret’s to use toward breast cancer awareness and treatment.
