PRINCETON — The First Presbyterian Church of Princeton, 320 Park Ave. East, is hosting an ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The service will feature song and scripture to begin the holiday season.
ARLINGTON — Members of St. Patrick Church in Arlington will be making sausage on Dec. 7. Orders may be placed by calling Lauren Koch at 815-638-2224 or Ann Hunter at 815-638-2691 by Dec. 2. Sausage will be available for pickup on Dec. 7 at the church hall between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and on Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Members have made sausage to benefit the church in the months of March and December for over forty years using “Nuco” Fonderoli’s family recipe.
PRINCETON — A special Festival 56 late-night cabaret for Neil Simon’s “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” will be at 10 p.m. Friday. LADD — Area residents, businesses or organizations are invited to participate in a Snowman Parade at 5 p.m. Dec. 7 as part of “Light Up the Holidays” 2013 Ladd Christmas Walk. The parade will begin on North Main Street and end at Ladd Memorial Park. All snowmen are welcome. Snow is not required.
