MANLIUS — Seven students from the Bureau Valley High School FFA program traveled to Louisville, Ky., for the National FFA Convention and Expo from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2.

During the four days, students attended general sessions where they heard from keynote speakers Rick Pitino, Josh Sundquist and Katie Pratt.

They had the opportunity to go to a career fair featuring 455 different companies, colleges and exhibitors.

The delegation toured Churchill Downs and the Louisville Slugger Museum and factory, and they went to a Dierks Bentley and Jana Kramer concert.

Following this year’s theme, the students returned home with an “ignited passion” for agriculture.”
