JFK School honors president's memory

SPRING VALLEY — In honor of the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assination, JFK Schoool is taking a spin on his "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" by focusing on community.

The Student Council will decorate the nursing home in Spring Valley with Christmas decorations all students have made on Nov. 22. Student Council members and the student ammbassadors will rake leaves near JFK. The students will wrap up their canned food drive on Nov. 22. All food will be donated to the Spring Valley Food Pantry on Nov. 25.
