Clyde 'Ward' Kitterman

KEWANEE — Clyde "Ward" Kitterman, 71, of Kewanee passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Kewanee Care.

He was born July 14, 1942, in Princeton to Clyde Irving and Mabel (Trimmer) Kitterman. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1960. He also graduated from Black Hawk College. He worked for John Deere, Kay Furniture and the USDA, and was an antique dealer for 30 years. He enjoyed watching Princeton High School sports, going to auctions and antiques. He was a member of the Bureau County Genealogical Society.

Ward is survived by three sisters, Norma (the late Forrest) Derose of Princeton, Helen (the late Gale) Thomas of Wyanet and Joann (Hilding) Allen of Princeton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents; three sisters, Irma (George) Bruce Jr., Nina (Ray) Norine and Vera (Charles) Miller; and two brothers, Irving (Ileta) Kitterman and Don (Norma) Kitterman.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Jon Olinger officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to the Princeton High School Foundation and the Bureau County historical or genealogical societies.
