Pancake breakfast

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will be serving an all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the LaMoille Lions Club, 308 Howard St. There will be pancakes, sausage, eggs, ham, toast, milk, juice and coffee. The United Methodist Church will hold a bake sale. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 4-10 and free for children under 4.

GFWC meeting

PRINCETON — The GFWC Woman’s Club of Princeton will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Prouty Building. Musical entertainment will be provided by Joyce Bickett and Lola Huffaker. Clara Pease and Lois Johnson will be hostesses. For more information, contact Pease at 815-872-0430.

Food drive

PRINCETON — The Princeton High School German and Spanish Clubs are sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Bureau County Food Pantry. Club members will be collecting food at school the week of Dec. 9 and at the home basketball game Tuesday.

Nine Patch meeting

OGLESBY — The Nine Patch Quilter’s Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dickinson House in Oglesby. New Year’s resolution projects should be brought for show and tell and a pair of scissors for a special project. The guild meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month. Potluck meeting

PRINCETON — The Home Extension Princeton Juniors will have a potluck meeting at noon Tuesday at 509 Harvey Dr., Princeton. The hostess is Marge Zimmerman, and the co-hostess is Ramona Wedding.

Hall music concert

PERU — The Hall High School Music Department will present its Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Hall High School Auditorium. The public is invited to attend. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Children under 5 are free. Jenilyn Roether will direct the band and choir.

PRINCETON — The Tri County Opportunities Council, 1019 N. Main St., Princeton, has an on-site, in-person counselor to answer questions about the new health insurance marketplace, to help people apply and enroll in health coverage and to help find assistance with the cost of the insurance.
