AMANA, Iowa — William “Bill” Joseph Barth, 49, of Amana, Iowa, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at his home.
He was born Oct. 24, 1964, in Princeton to Eddie Raymond Barth and Helene Bartkowski Barth. He received his education in the Walnut schools and graduated from Walnut High School. He was employed in maintenance and housekeeping departments and also worked as a mechanic and in car repair. He has resided in the Amana and Cedar Rapids area for 13 years.
Surviving are one sister, Kathy (David) Karrow of Amana, Iowa; a niece, Alicia Karrow of Rock Falls; and a grand-nephew, Spencer Donoho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two brothers, Don Eddie Barth and David Barth.
A memorial time will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut American Legion. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Walnut Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
The Kloster Funeral Home in Marengo, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
