St. Bede downs Princeton

The St. Bede Lady Bruins outscored the Princeton Tigresses 21-2 in the second quarter to take a commanding 31-6 halftime lead in Three Rivers South play Thursday at Prouty Gym. Hanna Bima led the Lady Bruins with 12 points in the first half as St. Bede easily won 58-21

Bima finished with a game-high 14 points with Laura Sickley adding 12 and Raley Mauck 10.

PHS played a strong third quarter, playing to a 13-11 difference, but tallied just four points in the fourth quarter. Taylor Clark led the Tigresses with seven points and Danielle Hughes added six.

St. Bede won the sophomore contest 45-21, led by Zoe Postula (12 points) and Julia Pohar (10). PHS was led by Ivy Rhodes (7) and Brooke Hieronymus (6). PHS scoring is listed incorrectly in Saturday's print edition.

Morrison 48, Bureau Valley 38: Helena Arnaditir had nine points while Heaven Bennett added seven for Bureau Valley in its 10-point loss to Morrison Thursday.

Sherrard 65, Hall 29: Jenna Lusietto scored 10 points while Hunter Galassi added nine for the Lady Devils in their loss to Sherrard Thursday.

Putnam County 55, Henry 13: Putnam County’s Carly Gonet scored 13 points while teammates Allison Voss had 12 and Danielle Pavlovich had 10 in Thursday’s home win over Henry.
