Drive to Coverage

The Bureau and Putnam County Health Department will host open enrollment events to encourage local community members to enroll in the new health insurance plans available through the Health Marketplace as part of the Get Covered Illinois Drive to Coverage campaign.

Events will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday at the Bureau and Putnam County Health Department in Princeton; from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Western Bureau County Food Pantry in Sheffield; from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Neponset Public Library; from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Western Bureau County Food Pantry in Sheffield; and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Bureau and Putnam County Health Department in Princeton.

New Year’s Eve dance

PRINCETON — The Princeton Moose Lodge will hold a New Year’s Eve dance, let the good times roll, from 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1. The Generics Goodies Band will perform. There is a $10 cover charge per person. RSVP by Saturday, Dec. 21 by calling 815-879-5261 or 815-875-2547. There will be snacks and party favors.

Donations wanted
