Frances Loscher

HENRY — Frances M. Loscher, 98, of Henry died at 1:53 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.

Born June 9, 1915, in Sparland to Walter H. Miles and Clara (Whitmore) Miles. she married Raymond D. Loscher Aug. 25, 1934, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1970.

She was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her children, Walter (Kathleen) Loscher of Glendale, Ariz., Edna Kay (Ray) Langenbach of Edelstein and Cherie Flores of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren. Susan Blodgett and Tricia Loscher, Wayne and Travis Langenbach, and Jeffrey Grandell; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, eight sisters and one granddaughter, Michelle Grandell.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Calvert and Johnson Memorial Home, "Downtown Chapel," 416 Edwards St., Henry. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery, Henry.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.

Memorials may be made to any no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
