The 2014 Princeton Women Masters will start at 1 p.m. Saturday as scheduled with the Princeton Men’s Masters to take the lanes at 4 p.m. for their final round and ladders championship. The men lost one day of bowling to the weather.
Joe Zokal stands as the leader in the men’s tournament with 102.16 Peterson points with Randy Dalrymple running second with 99.13. Defending champion J.T. Dant, who has won thee out of the last four titles, stands third at 93.31.
There’s already been some hot bowling with Dalrymple rolling a 300 on the first day of the tournament and Vince Wendling scoring a 299, leaving the 4 pin only on his last ball.
Tournament director Dave Camp said it’s great to have former champion Al Layton (2006) back in the field after missing last year’s event, continuing his battle with cancer.
