The St. Bede Lady Bruins finished  the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Tournament at Byron with a 56-42 win over Rockford Christian Life on Monday.

Earlier in the day, the Lady Bruins fell to Rockford Christian 49-40.

Their first game in the tournament was a 48-30 loss Saturday to Dakota. Laura Sickley had eight points, Lexi Miranda six and Hanna Bima five.

In Saturday’s nightcap, St. Bede fell to Rockford Jefferson 43-37. Once again Sickley, led the Lady Bruins with 11 points. Bima had six and Emma Perona and Raley Mauck five each.

Mendota 52, Hall 23: The Lady Trojans built a 49-10 lead after three quarters in Monday's make-up game at Hall. Emily Hoscheid and Jenna Lusietto each scored seven points for the Lady Devils.

Little Ten Conference Tournament

At Hinckley: LaMoille/Ohio fell to Hinckley-Big Rock  61-29 in the opening night of the LTC Tournament. Vanessa Martinez led the Lady Lions (7-13) with 14 points and Shiela Browning added 11.

In other games, Paw Paw defeated Hiawatha 52-37 and Serena beat Earlville-Leland 52-18.

Tri-County Conference Tournament

At Ottawa: After a weather delay Saturday, the TCC tourney resumed Monday with Peoria Christian topping DePue 80-17 and host Marquette topped Henry 46-27.
