Meeting cancelled

PRINCETON — The Red Hats meeting for Saturday has been cancelled. The new date is Feb. 22.

Breastfeeding support

SPRING VALLEY — La Leche League of the Illinois Valley, a breastfeeding support group, will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 20 in Spring Valley. This monthly group helps mothers gain knowledge and support from other breastfeeding moms. February’s discussion will revolve around, but is not limited to, “The Family and the Breastfed Baby.” Expecting moms are encouraged to attend, as well as new and experienced moms. Craft event

BUDA — Children in grades kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to make crafts for Valentine’s Day from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Mason Memorial Public Library in Buda.

Agricultural apps class

PRINCETON — The University of Illinois Extension will give a class on utilizing iPads more effectively for farm or agriculture related business from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the Bureau County office, 850 Thompson St., Princeton. The class is hosted by the Bureau County Farm Bureau. The class cost is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Bring your iPad to the class.
