The Princeton Tigers found the Boilers turned on at Kewanee Saturday, where the home team fired out to an 18-5 first quarter lead.
The host Boilermakers outscored the Tigers 58-47 the rest of the way to cruise to a 76-52 victory in Three Rivers South Division play.
Garrett Duffin had 23 points for the Tigers (4-16) with Brenton Schmidt adding nine. For Kewanee (15-4, 6-1), Dalton Nuding had 20 points and Oliver 18.
Kewanee won the sophomore game, despite a 32-point effort by Jake Reinhardt.
Kewanee also won the freshmen “A” game 56-42 with Colby Robbins and Colton Youngren netting 12 points each for PHS. Austin Hilmes’ sudden-death 16-footer lifted the Princeton “B” team to a 15-13 win.
