Tanglers first at L-P

The Tiger Town Tanglers won the L-P Crunchin Cavs Tournament, with some wrestlers winning for the first time.

First-place finishers were Braden Boyles, Ace Christiansen, Augie Christiansen, Peyton Hammerich, Nathaniel Irizarry, Charlie Korey, Michael Kurth, Andrew Peacock, Luke Peacock, Izaiah Smallwood and Kameron Wersinger.

Second-place-finishers were Conner Alter, Kaegan Hanson, Matthew Harris, Gavin Lanham, Brody Reviglio, Brody Spencer, Chase Tatum and Cohen Vetter.

Taking thirds were Shaylynn Hartmann, Dallas Hill, Zeke Klingenberg, Jimmy Kurth, Alexander Peck, Mitchell Taylor, Gavin Vetter, Zachary Walker and Kai Walowski.

Fourth-place finishers were Wyatt Bruce, Mason Cooney, Coby Hill, Hayden Larson, Jackson Mangold, Landon Mangold, Jack May, Kody Mongan, Karter Monroe, Robert Nelson, Anthony Vujanov, Josh Walker, Cole Walowski and Payton Walowski.

• TTT sent 11 kids last weekend to compete in the Jon Davis Open at the Prairie Convention Center in Springfield. Five Tanglers competed in the elite division — Hammerich and Tatum, who placed first. Peck (fourth) and Harris and Augie Christiansen.Taking third were Boyles, Hartmann,Tristan Lasson and Robert Nelson with Gavin Lanham in fourth.
