Quilters meeting

OGLESBY — The Nine Patch Quilt Guild will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dickinson House in Oglesby. Members should bring their new year’s resolution projects for show and tell and a pair of scissors for a special project. For more information, call Jean Daley at 815-883-8725.

Meeting

PRINCETON — The Princeton Juniors Home Extension will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Jo Ann Brahm. Brahm is the hostess and co-hostess. The leader is Ramona Wedding.

Chili supper

PRINCETON — The Bureau County Open Door 4-H Club will host a chili supper from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. Traditional chili, vegetarian chili and chicken noodle soup will be served by the 4-Hers. Tickets for the event are $5, and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Desserts will be provided with the meal. All proceeds for the event go to the Bureau County Open Door 4-H Club in Princeton.

Dance

PRINCETON — The Princeton Moose Lodge will host a Valentines Day dance Friday with music provided by the Generics Goodies band from 7 to 10 p.m.

Blood drive

PRINCETON — The Princeton Leads Group will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in the meeting room at the Bureau County Farm Bureau, 535 Elm Place, Princeton. Chili supper

MALDEN — The Malden Grade School will host a chili supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Admission into the girls basketball game against Ohio is included. There will be raffle prizes.
