PRINCETON — Helen W. Cook, 94, of Princeton passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Colonial Hall in Princeton.
Born Nov. 27, 1919, in Cornell, Wis., to Archie Wilson and Clara Walsvig, she married Kermit O. Cook July 4, 1941, in Las Vegas, Nev.
A 1937 graduate of Cornell High School, she was employed by FS Farm Service for 25-plus years. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, spending time with her family and cooking.
Surviving are three children, Douglas (Alice) Cook of Princeton, Linda (Joseph "Ed") Donahue of Princeton and David (Becky) Cook of Dover; five grandchildren, Brian (Shelly) Cook of Princeton, Andrea Cook of Bloomington, Jennifer (Mitch) Conwell of Malden, Travis Cook of LeRoy and Ashley (Nick) Peach of Princeton; and nine great-grandchildren, Courtney Cook, Devin Cook, Rachel Cook, Brielle Conwell, Beckett Conwell, Keagan Cook, Drew Cook, Brady Peach and Quinlyn Peach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton. Burial will be in the Malden Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home.
