PRINCETON — New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Princeton is hosting the musical group All Things New and a preaching ambassador from Olivet Nazarene University at 6 p.m. Sunday. The event is free and open to the public.

Historical society meeting
WYANET — The Wyanet Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the historical hall.
SHEFFIELD — The Wyanet Golden Eagles will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Reds in Sheffield.
PRINCETON — The Northwest Princeton unit of HCE will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Clara Pease, 321 Briar Lane. Gloria Hansen will be the co-hostess. The lesson, “Parenting 101,” will be given by Clara Pease. Nancy Hennings will furnish the auction gift. A “cooking school” will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 1 at the Methodist church with Monica from the Chestnut Street Inn.
PRINCETON — A community Ash Wednesday service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Princeton, 320 Park Ave. East on March 5. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. followed by worship of ashes at 7 p.m.
MANLIUS — Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its Ash Wednesday service with Holy Communion and imposition of ashes at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mid-week Lenten services will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
The church will hold soup suppers at 5:30 p.m. beginning March 5 and continuing every Wednesday during Lent.
PRINCETON — A Perry Memorial Hospital retirees and former employees breakfast will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Lincoln’s Princeton Plaza.
LADD — The Ohio Public Library’s annual fundraiser at Rip’s in Ladd has been canceled.
Draw down and dance
PRINCETON — The Princeton Lions Club will hold its annual draw down and dance Saturday, March 8 at the Princeton Elks Lodge. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner begins at 6 p.m. and the draw down starts at 7 p.m. Music will be provided by Rodeo Drive featuring Tommy Rose. There will be opportunities for door prizes, silent auctions, 50-50 raffles and tip boards. The cost is $35 per couple and includes dinner for two. Only 200 tickets are available. Tickets may be purchased at the Princeton Elks Lodge, Cannon Cleaners or from any Princeton Lions Club Member. All proceeds go to the Princeton Lions Club projects.
