PRINCETON — Freedom House offers free training for professional groups. Some of the training topics include:

An overview of Freedom House services and how professional staff can respond to disclosures and make appropriate referrals. This training includes how to support patients, parishioners, customers or staff and the non-offending significant others associated with the survivors of sexual assault.

Sexual Harassment – This training offers tips on how to work to prevent sexual harassment or how to respond to existing harassment. This training is available to institutions, businesses or agencies.

An interactive training “Walk the Walk” is offered. This realistic simulation experience is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the experience of being a victim of sexual violence in order to increase empathy for survivors.

Freedom House is the only recognized domestic violence and sexual assault provider for the counties of Bureau, Marshall, Putnam, Henry and Stark.
