Olson’s buzzer-beater sinks Kewanee

Jarrett Olson’s 3-point basket at the buzzer lifted the St. Bede Bruins to a 49-46 win at Kewanee Tuesday.

The shot was the seventh 3-pointer of the night for Olson, who led the Bruins (15-11, 7-3) with a game-high 27 points.

“That’s the second time he did it this season and the first was also against Kewanee,” Kilmartin said, noting Olson had the same heroics at the Oregon Tip-Off Tournament. “I played basketball a long time and I’m not sure I ever had a game-winner.”

Hall 63, Serena 48: The Red Devils were victorious in non-conference play at Red Devil Gymnasium Tuesday. A.J. Gaeta had 15 points, Miguel Villareal 13 and Collin Aimone 12 for the Red Devils (16-10).
