PRINCETON — The Princeton sophomores brought the Three Rivers Conference South division championship home Tuesday night, defeating Rockridge 43-29 at Prouty Gym.

The win clinched the conference crown, the Kittens finishing 10-2 in league play, and 18-7 overall.

“It was a great team effort. I am proud of my guys for continuing to battle throughout the season. They are very deserving of the TRACS conference title,” PHS coach Mike Fredericks said.

“They have been an absolute joy to coach and work with. I am sad to see the season end. However, I am excited to watch them grow as players and young men over the next two years. What an awesome way to end the season.”

The Kittens took a 12-6 first quarter lead, but needed a 15-8 fourth-quarter edge to close out the win.

Skye Behrends led the Kittens with 18 points and Jake Reinhardt added 15.
