PRINCETON — The Prairie Arts Council is announcing auditions for the upcoming spring show, “Steel Magnolias.”
“Steel Magnolias” takes place in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, La., where all the ladies who are anybody come to have their done. Filled with hilarious repartee and not a few acerbic, but humorously revealing verbal collisions, these strong southern females give the play a special quality that makes them truly touching, funny and marvelously amiable company in good times and bad.
Auditions for the production, which will be April 25-27, will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 and 10 a.m. March 1 at the Prairie Arts Center Theater located at 24 Park Ave. East in Princeton.
