After serving in the Navy during World War II, Ernie went to college at Culver Stockton and then went on to earn his master’s degree in biology at Western Illinois University. After teaching high school for a few years, he found his true calling was being a salesman. He served the granite industry for most of his life as a representative of several manufacturers to the monument dealers throughout the Midwest.

Cards and well wishes would be appreciated and may be sent to: Ernie Ernst, 508 Park Ave. East, Princeton, IL 61356.
