Lucille Anderson

PRINCETON — Lucille M. Anderson, 97, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Walnut Manor Nursing Home in Walnut.

She was born March 5, 1916, in Spring Valley to Quinto and Jennie (Minier) Mussatti. She graduated in 1934 from Hall High School in Spring Valley. She married Leslie Anderson June 16, 1944, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton. He preceded her in death in 2001.

She worked at the Bureau County Treasurer Office for 34 years. She was also a homemaker, farm wife and enjoyed baking and doing crafts. Her and her husband farmed in the Ohio and Wyanet areas. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Princeton.

Surviving are one nephew, John Mussatti of Ladd, and numerous Anderson nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister; Mary Mussatti; and two brothers, John Mussatti and Herman Mussatti.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with the Rev. George Woosnam officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park, Spring Valley.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, in the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Walnut Manor or the donor's choice.
