This year Weber House and Garden celebrates its 30th anniversary, and we are looking for volunteers. These volunteers would help ensure this important LaSalle County tourist attraction continues well into the future.

Although we continue to maintain the two-acre English garden, time catches up with us all and this can’t go on forever.

Actually, we are seeking a group or individual to whom we can eventually entrust the property. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about romantic English houses and gardens in the spirit of Great Dixter and Sissinghurst.

We need help watering, spraying, and fertilizing our 100 roses, pruning box and yew, deadheading, spreading mulch and even conducting tours when we have motor coaches.

Weber House and Garden has an impressive pedigree and has attracted thousands of visitors. It has been featured on PBS, in “Chicagoland Gardening,” and numerous newspapers. Now we need help to keep the story going and the visitors coming! Contact number is 815-672-8327. For more information, please look on our website and Facebook page.
