Dalzell man is charged with felony

DALZELL — Daniel P. Simpson, 39, of Dalzell has been arrested by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Team (TRI-DENT) and charged with the Class 3 felony of possession of cannabis, 30 to 500 grams, with the intent to deliver.

After an investigation, with the assistance of the U.S. Postal Service, TRI-DENT agents arrested Simpson on March 7 in Spring Valley.

At that time, he was found to be in possession of between 30 and 500 grams of suspected cannabis.
