PRINCETON — The Princeton Chamber of Commerce and Princeton Business Leads Team have a fun and informative meeting set for Friday morning for members of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce, as well as non-members and the general public.
Princeton Chamber of Commerce Director Kim Frey said Friday’s event will run from 8 to 11 a.m. at the A Hundred Acre Orchard, just west of Princeton. The event will include a continental breakfast, vendor fair and guest speaker, humorist, author and business strategy consultant Karel Murray. Tickets are $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. No reservations are needed, and doors will open at 8 a.m.
Fifteen members of the Princeton Business Leads Team, which is sponsoring the event and is an arm of the Chamber, will have vendor booths set up at the event, Frey said. The purpose of the Princeton Business Leads Team is to be a business referral sharing group, with meetings twice a month to network with each other and exchange leads and transactions, she said.
The vendor tables at Friday’s event will be open before and after the guest speaker speaks at approximately 9 a.m., Frey said.
Keynote speaker Karel Murray’s message will be geared toward thinking forward and getting energized and empowered this spring, Frey said. Murray’s message of becoming empowered in 2014 could impact anyone, whether Chamber and business leaders, business owners and employees, families or individuals, she said.
