Tucker Schoff claimed second (8.88) in the 60 meter high hurdles with his brother Hunter taking seventh.

Kane Eastwood finished second in the 800 (2:11) with teammate Andrew Smith getting a top 8 (2:20) performance as well. In the 400, Trone (fourth, 56.20) and Taylor (56.36) both finished in the top 5.

After running in the school hallways, BV coach Nick Hartz said it was nice to get the Storm track running some real competition and thought they had a “great first meet.”

“I was happy to see all the kids do well. We had some of the young kids really do a great job plus a lot of upperclassmen showed great improvement from last year. The kids have put in a lot of hard work early and will need to keep putting in the extra effort as we move forward in the season.”
