Jumping for a cause

Jefferson Elementary School in Princeton held a “Super Secret Special” assembly March 11 to announce their Jump Rope for Heart results. The goal this year was to collect $5,000. The kindergarten and first-grade students collected $5,430.50. The top collectors were Skylar Teske (second from left), Valarie Reed-Benson, Landon Davis, Tyler Foristall, Dylan Morehouse and Zoey Byers. Byers received a special award for having the most participants donate. All the students received a special Dairy Queen treat for beating their goal for Jump Rope for Heart. Andrea Etheridge (left) is the PE teacher at Jefferson.
