Yaklich accepted into honors program

CHAMPAIGN-URBANA — Nicole Yaklich, a 2013 Saint Bede Academy graduate from Princeton, has been accepted into the James Scholars Honors Program at the University of Illinois. Requirements are continuous academic achievement; being in the top 20 percent of all ACES students and being named to the dean’s list with a minimum grade point average of 3.7.

The ACES James Scholar Honors Program in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences provides an educational experience for students with exceptional academic skills. James Scholars are expected to perform at a superior level throughout their entire undergraduate careers.

Yaklich, a freshman, is also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society at the University of Illinois Alpha Chapter and the Alpha Lambda Delta Society recognizing academic excellence among first year students.
