County board members on the ballot

At Tuesday’s primary, Bureau County voters determined political party candidates for 13 positions on the Bureau County Board which will be open in the November general election.

At this point, there are no contested races. Also at this time, District 6 has no candidate for the November election, since incumbent Derek Whited did not seek re-election, but sought to run for the county treasurer position instead. (Whited lost the primary election against opponent Courtney Yates-Mabry.)

Political party candidates, as determined at Tuesday’s primary election, are as follows:
