IDOT honors Advanced Asphalt

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT) Contractor of the Year program is designed to recognize exceptional quality in highway construction.

This comprehensive program enables contracting firms of all sizes and specialties to receive acknowledgement for their outstanding performance.

At the 107th annual convention and business meeting of the Associated General Contractors of Illinois (AGCI) held in Springfield, IDOT presented its awards for “exceptional work” performed during the 2013 construction season.

Advanced Asphalt Co. of Princeton was selected by IDOT in the “hot mix asphalt” category for the company's milling and resurfacing of Interstate 80 in Bureau County.
