Where did you grow up?: Sioux City, Iowa.
Family: Husband, Kevin; sons, Adam and Jacob.
Pets: Two cats, Kitty and Grace.
Occupation: Teaching paraprofessional.
What is the last song you listened to: I listened to “In Christ Alone” sung by Kristian Stanfield.
What is the last book you read: I reread “Not a Fan” by Kyle Idleman.
What is the last television show you watched: “The Mentalist.”
If you were stranded on a desert island and could have just one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be: I’d like tacos and chocolate ice cream.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could take only one thing with you, what would it be: I’d take my Bible.
What is your favorite local restaurant: I like the Farmer’s Table in LaMoille.
If someone handed you a million dollars, how would you spend it: First, I would finish paying for my sons’ college education. I’d buy two good vehicles and a new pop-up camper. I’d also give to many Christian ministries.
People would be surprised to know that you: My extended family is now 60 people who live in Iowa, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
What is your favorite thing about the city you live in: I enjoy the sense of community at events such as outdoor movie nights and Buffalo Days worship service.
If you could change one thing about your town, what would it be: I’d like to help create a community youth center to provide good activities for our young people.
