PES plans pre-school screening

PRINCETON — The Princeton Elementary School District 115 will hold its annual pre-school screening clinic April 14 at the First United Methodist Church, 316 S. Church St., Princeton.

Pre-school screening is a state required brief assessment of a child’s development in speech, language, gross and fine motor skills and a vision and hearing assessment. This screening is for every 3, 4, and 5 year old child who resides in the school district and is not currently enrolled in school. A child must by 3 years old by the day of the clinic in order to be screened.

Appointments for screening can be made by phone beginning April 1 through April 10 by calling Jefferson Elementary School in Princeton at 815-875-4417. For more information, contact the school.
