PENSACOLA, Fla. — Jason Stocking, 29, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at his home.
He was born Sept. 14, 1984, in Mobile, Ala., to Jeffrey Stocking and Julie (Boney) Lawlor. He graduated from Princeton High School in 2004. He currently worked for six years as a civilian employee at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.
He loved to fish.
He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey (Robyn) Stocking of Princeton and Julie (James) Lawlor of New Jersey; three siblings, Joel Stocking of Princeton, and Austin Wilder and Timothy Wilder, both of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one stepsister, Jessica Dellinger of Ceder Rapids, Iowa; three nieces, Aria Stocking of Princeton, and Jayden and Jenna Dellinger of Iowa; one nephew, Andrew Stocking of Princeton; his grandmothers, Joanne Stocking of Princeton and Norma (Edgar) Morris of Mobile, Ala.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Gene Stocking and Richard Boney; one uncle, Mark Boney; and a family friend, Jesse Gatlin.
Services will be at noon Saturday, March 22, at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with Father Jeffrey Stirniman officiating. Burial will be private and at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday, March 22, at the funeral home.
