Denise DeBrock

SHEFFIELD — Denise M. DeBrock, 39, of Sheffield died at 4:26 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Unity Point Health Trinity in Rock Island.

She was born Nov. 27, 1974, in Princeton to Richard D. & Deanne Marie (Maas) DeBrock.

She graduated from Manlius High School and from the University of Illinois with a master's degree.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheffield and the American Library Association.

Surviving are her mother, Deanne DeBrock of Sheffield; one sister, Debra DeBrock of Sheffield; three brothers, Ron (Wendy) DeBrock of Geneseo, Robert (Jennifer) DeBrock of Wyanet and Roger (Kristine) DeBrock of Manlius; one sister-in-law, Kimberly DeBrock of Sheffield; four nieces, Rebecca Davis of Istanbul, Turkey, Kara and Katelyn DeBrock of Wyanet, and Allison DeBrock of Manlius; three nephews, Blake DeBrock of Manlius, and Riley and Tyler DeBrock of Manlius; and two great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard D. DeBrock; her grandparents, John and Anne DeBrock, and Ray and Clara Maas; and two brothers, Randall and Raymond DeBrock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Sheffield, with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Sheffield.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheffield.

Memorials may be directed to the Denise M. DeBrock Memorial Fund.

The Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, is in charge of arrangements.
