Bradford music students participate in contest
BRADFORD — On March 21, Bradford Junior High band and choir students participated in a solo and ensemble contest at Wyoming Grade School in Wyoming. The students earned 13, I ratings and four, II ratings. Jan Horack accompanied the students.
Four events earned a perfect score. Students earning a perfect score are Maggie Rouse, flute solo; Faith Moody, clarinet solo; Jordan Holmberg, snare drum solo; and Isaac Gullett, trumpet solo.
Students who earned a I rating are Moody, clarinet solo; Rouse, flute solo; Abby Wall, flute solo; Kendra Selby, saxophone solo; Holmberg, snare drum solo; Zachary Piper, tuba solo; Madison McDermott, trombone solo; Gullett, trumpet solo; Mark Painter, trumpet solo; Isaac Stahl, trumpet solo; Colby Wall and Gabe Stahl, baritone duet; McKenzie Coleman, Jessica Wright, Emma Slichenmyer and Moody, girls vocal double duet; and Gabe Stahl, Painter, Colby Wall and Michael Perez, boys vocal double duet.
Students who earned a II rating are Jacob Reay, snare drum solo; Slichenmyer, flute solo; Chase Stahl and McDermott, trombone Suet; and Coleman, Jessica Wright, Natalie Murphy and Elizabeth Horack, girls vocal double duet.
