PROMise Dress Sale proceeds rasied

PROMise Dress Sale coordinator Amy Thompson (center) donates the proceeds raised during the second annual PROMise Dress Sale, which was held on March 1. The sale sold 77 dresses and raised $2,103. The First United Methodist Youth Organization and Living Works Suicide Prevention Program each received $900. Accepting on behalf of the youth organization were youth leaders Rebecca (far left) and Drew Wilson. Living Works Founder and Director Chris Compton (far right) accepted the donation on behalf of her organization. Thompson expressed gratitude for all those who came together to help make the sale possible, especially Liana Hall, Hoffman’s Patterns of the Past, Michelle’s Bridal of Urbana, Apollo Theater and Princeton Closet.
