PRINCETON — Pamela Petersen Bork, state regent, will assemble with members of the Princeton-Illinois chapter NSDAR and city officials to dedicate an “anniversary tree” on the lawn of City Hall on Saturday. The brief ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. The dedicatory marker notes the unusual confluence of the recent anniversaries of four events: the signing of the Constitution (225 years ago), War of 1812 (200 years), founding of Bureau County (175 years) and the Civil War (150).
