An open house to celebrate the 90th birthday of Eunice (Wiggim) Thompson will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut Community Building in Walnut.

Eunice was born April 4, 1924, to Ada and Joseph Wiggim in Walnut Township, the youngest of eight children. She married Ralph Thompson on Feb. 1, 1945. He passed away May 4, 2005.

Eunice has eight children, Sue (Larry) Frank of Princeton, David (Jill) Thompson of California, Gene (Rose) Thompson of Lake Thunderbird, Patti (Bruce) Atherton of Walnut, Tom (Loretta) Thompson of Braceville, Jane (Pete) Miller of Walnut, Julie (Gordon) Marsh of Walnut and Lisa (Greg) Heaton of Dixon; 20 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

Eunice worked at Walnut Manor as a beautician for several years.
