TISKILWA — Tiskilwa’s Museum on Main, 110 E. Main St. will present “Wild Flowers of Illinois” by Connie Swanson of Henry at 7 p.m. Monday.
Swanson will share photos, commentary and legends during the program. Her slide presentation begins in early spring, when skunk cabbage begins to poke through the melting snow. The program moves through the summer months and into the fall as viewers travel through Illinois’ meadows and woodlands, sand pits and prairies to enjoy the variety of colors and forms.
The program is free and open to the public. Following the program, there will be refreshments and social time in the museum.
