Annual city cleanup

PRINCETON — The annual city cleanup in Princeton will be May 5 for all residences east of Main Street and May 12 for all residences west of Main Street. All items should be out no later than 6 a.m. on those days.

None of the following items will be taken:

• Demolition materials.

• White goods (stoves, dishwashers, etc.).

• Tires.

• Special or hazardous waste.

• Rock, bricks or concrete.

• Oil or oil tanks.

• Paint cans with wet paint in them.

• Electronics.

All pipes and rod must be cut to a 4-foot length. Swing sets must be taken apart and cut. The garbage truck will take what it can, and the rest will be picked up with a loader and dump truck. Junk should be put where the garbage is normally collected.
