ROCHELLE — The Princeton Tigers placed fourth in Saturday’s Hub Relays at Rochelle.
The Tigers won two events with two seconds and two thirds to score 74 points. Dixon won the meet with 122 points followed by Rochelle (100), Machesney Park Harlem (96) and PHS.
“We had an excellent day. Fourth place at Rochelle is always a great finish. We performed against outstanding competition. Our guys fought hard and brought home many medals,” PHS coach Dan Foes said.
The Tigers won the 4x110 shuttle with Blake Janssen, Jacob Smith, Lenny Mead and Drew Pranka as well as the F/S 4x400 relay with Kai Tomaszewski, Cody Workman, Austin Wetsel and Mead.
PHS also placed second in the high jump (10-6) on the strength of Lucus Sisler and Austin Rossler and the 3200 with Zach Andersen and Denver Wyatt.
Thirds came in the pole vault (28-6) with Pranka, Michael Warren and Dominic Biggs and long jump (55-0 1/4) with Caleb Strom, Luke Marselle and Brent Loftus.
