The first round hanging of barn quilts on the Bureau County Barn Quilt Trail is nearing completion. There have been two quilts hung in the last week and there’s many more to come. David Ponsetti and Gary Glover of Corn Belt Energy placed the eighth quilt of the trail. The Barn Quilts of Bureau County group is grateful for the help and cooperation of Corn Belt Energy, who volunteered to help with the project. The men have refused all monetary offerings to assist in the installation. The pictured barn quilt is owned by Hilding Allen and is located at 17113 1700 North Ave. in Princeton.
