The Princeton and Washington girls soccer teams were slinging in the rain Tuesday at the Tiskilwa soccer pitch. Washington scored two goals in each half to top the Tigresses 4-2. Both of the PHS goals came in the second half. Michelle Kelly scored on a direct kick and Jenna Grimmer knocked down a penalty kick. PHS (11-8-1) returns to action Thursday at home vs. HBR with the varsity starting at 5 p.m. IVC 5, Hall 2: Vanessa Olivares and Rebecca Schmidt each scored for the Lady Devils before rain suspended play with four minutes remaining in the first half Tuesday in Chillicothe. Emily Wines notched an assist.
