Boys track

At Ottawa: Hall (84) placed third in Monday’s Illinois Valley Conference Meet behind L-P (162) and Ottawa (139). Hall’s Al Baldonado (1,600, 4:47.87; 3,200, 10:30.22) and Collin Aimone (long jump, 20-2; 400, 51.62) each won two events. The Red Devils also won the 4x100 (44.86) and 4x200 (1:36.40) relays.

At Princeton: The Tigers defeated old NCIC pal IVC 114-26 in a dual meet at Rathje Track Tuesday. Top contributors were Lenny Mead, who won the 100 (11.76) and 200 (23.93) and Drew Pranka, who won the pole vault (12-0) and 110 (18.59) and 300 (42.77) hurdles.

Other wins for PHS came from Matt Gibson in the discus (118-9), Luke Marselle in the triple jump (38-5), Lucus Sisler in the high jump (5-4), Brent Loftus in the 1600 (5:36.14), Denver Wyatt in the 3200 (12:09.64), Kai Tomaszewski in the 400 (53.47) and the 4x100 (46.4), 4x400 (3:56.08) and the 4x800 (9:52.1) relays.

At Amboy: LaMoille sophomores Clay Stuepfert (shot put, 39-4 1/2) and Josh Gross (long jump, 18-0 1/2) kicked in first-place points for the Clippers co-op in Tuesday’s quadrangular triumph over Indian Creek (44), HBR (34) and Ohio (16).

At Manlius: Justin Buckman (48-6, 131-2) swept the weights and Jeremiah Blackert won the triple jump for the Storm in Monday’s BV Invite. BV’s Kane Eastwood won the 800 (2:01.79), Will Konneck won the 100 (11.58) and the Storm swept all four relays.
