PRINCETON — The Prairie Arts Council has awarded its $1,000 2014 Art Scholarship to Bureau Valley High School senior Lily Gould. She will attend North Park University in Chicago this fall where she will work toward her bachelor’s degree in art after which she hopes to receive a master’s degree in museum studies.

Portfolios were judged by the submission of original works. These were evaluated by a panel of jurors on the basis of overall quality, involving artistic content, originality and excellence of execution.
